Sustainability Initiatives

  • The board strives for sound governance through compliance of policies, including a Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery Policy, available on the website and communicated to all.
  • The board included seven (7) members, with two (2) female director representing 33%, reflecting diverse professional backgrounds, committed to fostering gender diversity and reviewing the practice annually.
  • Prioritize ethical conduct, supported by a Whistleblowing Policy for reporting malpractices, with stakeholders encouraged to report concerns, and a protected channel for whistleblowing available, though no cases were reported during the year.
  • Uphold top-tier corporate governance standards outlined in the MMLR and MCCG, with detailed policies available in our Corporate Governance Overview Statement and Report on the Bursa Securities website.
  • The Internal Audit Team leads risk assessment, reported to department heads and top management, with the Board ensuring effective risk management, aligned with ISO standards and MCCG guidelines, resulting in no incidents of non- compliance reported in FY2023, supported by a Business Continuity Plan reviewed annually.

Join us in celebrating Earth Day as our Deputy CEO, Dr. Matin Ng, leads our participation in Penang’s Plant One Million Trees Planting in One Day program!

Together with the Penang Governor’s Charity Foundation (Yayasan Amal Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang) and the office of state housing and environment committee chairman Datuk Seri Sundarajoo Somu, we’re taking action to preserve biodiversity, combat deforestation, and fight climate change.
