Sharing Expertise. Shaping Tomorrow

6 August 2026

At UWC, we believe that industry experience becomes more meaningful when it is shared with the next generation. We were honoured to have our Deputy COO, Ms Ng Sze Yen, alongside several members of our leadership team, invited as Judges and Observers at the 4th SDGs Project Competition, where students presented their ideas and solutions around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It was also a privilege for our team to serve alongside fellow judges and industry professionals from Intel, Micron, HP and other leading industry players. Bringing together different industry perspectives made the experience even more meaningful, creating a strong platform for industry and education to jointly inspire the next generation.
As judges and observers, our team had the opportunity to listen to fresh perspectives, challenge ideas, and share practical insights from an industry point of view.

Beyond evaluating projects, the experience was about connecting industry, education and young talent encouraging students to think critically, solve real-world problems and turn meaningful ideas into possibilities for the future.
We are proud to see our people contributing beyond the workplace and playing a role in nurturing the next generation of innovators and future leaders.
Because when industry shares its experience, young minds gain the confidence to shape what comes next.
