Industrial visit of IKM Beseri to explore more about manufacturing processes, especially robotic welding at UWC. In UWC, there are three general types of welding, robotic tungsten inert gas welding (TIG), robotic metal inert gas welding (MIG) and robotic fiber laser welding.

Not only that, UWC has Malaysia’s first fiber laser robot welding. Robotic fiber laser welding uses a robotic arm to guide a laser beam to melt and join workpieces. Compared with other technology, it has better heat distribution, higher speed, eliminate porosity and warpage.

We believe that on-site exposure is an important part of the school curriculum, it bridges the gap and it is a pleasure to meet these enthusiastic students. We welcome them to pursue their future career paths at UWC.
