Experience That Shapes the Next Generation

13 August 2026

In precision engineering, some of the most valuable knowledge comes from years of hands-on experience.
As part of our Machining Training Programme, we are bringing experienced technical professionals who have retired from the industry back as trainers giving them an opportunity to share their knowledge, skills and practical experience with the next generation of machinists.

From blueprint reading, mechanical drawings and orthographic projections to real-world machining practices, their experience provides our people with learning that goes beyond the classroom.
We believe retirement should not mean the end of contribution. Experience can be passed on, skills can be transferred, and knowledge can continue to create value for the next generation.

At UWC, we are investing not only in machines and technology, but also in people, knowledge and the future of skilled manufacturing.
