Puan Jariyah Binti Hashim serves as our Independent Non-Executive Director, having been appointed to the Board on 2 May 2024. She is the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and a member of the Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees.

Puan Jariyah holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, awarded in 1984, and a Master of Science in Chemistry, completed in 1986, both from Western Illinois University, Macomb. She was also conferred an Honorary Master of Economics by Universiti Malaysia Perlis in 2016. Additionally, she is a certified Train-The-Trainer professional.

Her extensive career began at the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority in 2010, where she served as Vice President of the Education and Human Capital Division. In this role, she collaborated with state agencies, federal ministries, training institutes, and schools on community development initiatives. In 2016, she transitioned to the Manufacturing Division as Vice President, focusing on business ecosystem development and talent pipeline creation for the manufacturing sector. From 2019 until her retirement in 2022, she served as Regional Head for Perak and Penang, ensuring the successful implementation of key human capital programs such as EmpowerNCER, JomNiaga, and EntrepreneurNCER.

In November 2023, Puan Jariyah was appointed as a member of Kelab Pembangunan TVET dan Usahawan Pulau Pinang, further reflecting her commitment to human capital and community development. She has no family relationship with any director of the Company and does not hold any directorships in other public listed companies.
