Dato’ Seri Ng Chai Eng journey in the Malaysian industrial sector began with a solid foundation in technical education, achieving Malaysian Skills Certificate Levels 1 and 2, followed by further studies in Administrative Management and Production and Quality Control Management in London. His dedication led to a pivotal moment in his career when he was appointed to the board on March 29, 2018, marking a significant transition into executive leadership.

Starting as an apprentice electrician at Mattel (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and then advancing to a Senior Technician and Plant Manager at Leader Electrical Appliances Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (current GUH Electrical Appliances Sdn. Bhd.), Dato Ng showcased his growing expertise and leadership from 1982 to 1990. These experiences laid the groundwork for his impactful executive roles.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dato Ng plays a vital role in community and industrial development. He advises the Federation of Malaysian Foundry and Engineering Industries Associations (FOMFEIA) and serves on the Machinery and Equipment Investment Advisory Panel of MIDA. Additionally, as the chairman of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Beng Teik (Pusat), he underlines his commitment to education. Currently, as the Director of UMedic Grou Berhad and other entities, Dato Ng continues to contribute significantly to Malaysia’s industrial and manufacturing evolution
