Precision bending and forming is a core capability within UWC’s sheet metal fabrication process. We provide controlled and repeatable CNC bending solutions to support a wide range of component sizes, geometries, and production requirements across diverse industrial applications.
UWC’s bending operations are supported by a diversified range of modern CNC press brake systems, enabling accurate forming of sheet metal, plate, tube, and bar materials. These systems allow us to handle both small and large-format components while maintaining consistent bend accuracy, angular control, and dimensional stability.
To further enhance productivity, consistency, and operator safety, selected press brake systems are integrated with mobile robotic bending solutions. The mobile robot enables automated part handling, positioning, and bending, reducing manual intervention while improving repeatability and process stability particularly for high-mix, repeat, and extended production runs.
Typical bending tolerances are maintained within ±0.3° to ±0.5° for bend angle and ±0.2 mm to ±0.5 mm for linear dimensions, subject to material type, thickness, bend length, and part geometry. All bending activities are executed under controlled process conditions with in-process inspection to ensure compliance with customer drawing requirements.
With scalable capacity, flexible tooling, and robotic-assisted automation, UWC supports customer requirements from prototyping and low-volume builds through to repeat and higher-volume production, delivering reliable, production-ready metal components.
