Our Deputy Group Chief Operating Officer was invited by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) as a speaker to share UWC’s perspective on “Building a Self-Reliant Workforce, Industry Strategies to Optimize Talent and Enhance Productivity.”
During the session, she shared a message that reflects UWC’s approach to workforce development:
“When we discuss productivity, many people immediately think about automation, digitalization, or AI. At UWC, we believe productivity starts with people. Technology can be purchased. Capability must be built.”
At UWC, talent development is more than an initiative it is a long-term commitment. By continuously investing in upskilling, strengthening industry education collaboration, and preparing our workforce ahead of future demand, we are building the capabilities needed to support sustainable growth.
